  1. In a large skillet over medium heat add 1/4 cup of olive oil. Add the garlic, and saute for a 1-2 minutes.
  2. Mix in the red pepper flakes, and saute for another minute.
  3. Pour in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and basil. Simmer about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. While simmering sauce, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain pasta.
  5. Whisk eggs with a fork and place in small bowl.
  6. Put bread crumbs in a separate bowl. Stir the garlic powder, salt and pepper into the bread crumbs.
  7. Dip chicken into the egg first, then into the bread crumbs until completely coated.
  8. Heat remaining olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Fry chicken for about 5 minutes per side until browned.
  9. Remove chicken from pan and slice.
  10. Mix chicken into the sauce, and simmer for another 10 minutes. Stir in the cooked penne and simmer for a 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and serve.
